Growing up, there were 2 sources that my parents used to get the news.  The daily newspaper in the front yard and the local news on TV at 5pm and 10pm.    Ah, the good ole days 

I have personally always used the Internet as a news source.  I don’t remember ever having a newspaper subscription and I can’t wait until 5 or 10 to know what happened today.  My main news source is CNN and my local news source is DallasNews.

I personally find it very odd now to see someone reading an actual newspaper.  It seems almost archaic to me.  And since most homes have a computer, it makes me wonder why people are still using natural resources to receive news that could more easily be looked up online.

My assumption is that if you’re reading this post, you have access to a computer.  :)  My challenge to you is that if you are still receiving a printed newspaper delivered to your home, challenge yourself for a week or two to get your news online and cancel your subscription to a printed newspaper.
